On 7–8 April 2025, a technical team from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) visited Türkiye to assess the country’s communicable diseases surveillance system.

ECDC has published a set of recommendations for preparedness planning for public health threats, offering tailored guidance for improving readiness for future health emergencies across European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA) countries, at both national and regional levels.

On 18 and 19 March 2025, a seminar was held at Africa CDC HQ in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Priority Areas for Multisectoral Interventions (PAMIs) for cholera control. The workshop brought together 20 participants from Africa CDC and the Regional Collaboration Centres.
